About our Photographers

Dafydd Jones

Dafydd Jones is known for his work documenting English life. He gained recognition in 1981 as a prizewinner in the London Sunday Times/Nikon Scholarship. Hired by Tina Brown, he photographed social events for Tatler magazine, capturing the vibrant social scene of the 1980s. Jones worked in New York during the early 1990s for Vanity Fair and other publications before returning to England. He went on to experiment with panoramic and time-lapse techniques and continues to explore both traditional and digital photography. He has published 5 books and has work in the collections of:

  • The National Portrait Gallery, London
  • The Hyman Collection of British Photography, London Martin Parr Foundation, Bristol.
  • Opsis Foundation. New York. 
  • Yale Museum of British Art
  • The Bodleian Library, Oxford.
  • Thomas J. Watson Library. Metropolitan Museum. New York.

Dan Stevens

  

Dan Stevens started his career as a party photographer immediately after leaving university in 1987. He was very quickly snapped up by Tatler and became the main Bystander photographer from 1989 to early 1996.

During this time Dan also assisted some very well know photographers and since then has continuously photographed people in London and abroad. 

After 35 years, Dan is back shooting for Tatler again alongside his other commissions.


Dominic O’Neill

Desmond O'Neill features Ltd is a London based Photo agency that specialises in photographing the British Social and celebrity scene. The Agency was founded by Desmond O'Neill in the 1950's and is now run by his son Dominic O'Neill. We have been photographing royalty, aristocracy, celebrities and everybody who matters for over 60 years and have a comprehensive library of stock images.  

William Bartholomew

William Bartholomew has been in the “party business” since 1977. He started as a DJ for Annabel’s Nightclub and Juliana’s Sound Services, then set up William Bartholomew Party Organising (WBPO) in the 1980s. He has organised events all over the world. His impressive C.V. includes parties for the Royal Family, Embassies, private clients, companies and hotel groups. William is recognised as one of the best in the business. His parties are legendary.
